Dr. Cowardbéy has spent nearly a decade specializing in high-level Lymphedema Management and Advanced Wound Care. His clinical background spans complex neurological, orthopedic, pulmonary, diabetic, and cardiac conditions, with foundational roots in geriatric and adult rehabilitation.

His specialized focus includes:

• Certified Lymphedema Therapy (CLT): Advanced complete decongestive therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and compression management.

• Advanced Wound Care: Evidence-based treatment plans designed to promote tissue healing, manage chronic wounds, and prevent complications.

• Holistic Rehabilitation: Integrating physical recovery with functional mental health support for whole-person healing.

Community Leadership & Advocacy

Driven by a commitment to patient advocacy and health equity, Dr. Cowardbéy founded the FLUID Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the lymphedema community.

Through the FLUID Foundation, he works to:

• Raise public and clinical awareness for lymphedema and chronic swelling disorders.

• Secure crucial funding for specialized compression garments for patients facing financial barriers.

• Build a supportive, empowered community that improves long-term healthcare outcomes and patient independence.
